![]() I have experienced several services outages regarding downloading and service availability of the Android Cell Phone Night Owl Application. They wont answer emails or chats or calls since the initial BBB report to resend mailer.BBB CASE#: ******** They continue to call and and email with advertising after requesting I be removed and have still yet to send a replacement device or a mailer for the old one. The unit completely died today, hence the renewed concern and report. This still ignored the agreement to send a replacement unit first. I was not able to view the BBB response or give any further details, but in looking at the old case, I see the business responded about a month after the initial complaint and stated they sent another prepaid mailer. I reconnected and they stated they couldn't talk to me anymore because I'd filed a BBB claim. I emailed that there was an update to the old case but couldn't see what in the email. I filed a complaint with the BBB on 7/20/20 after receiving a marketing email from them (and never signing up for their marketing material). Several more attempts to contact were ignored, including emails and support chats. Another few weeks of back and forth on the phone occurred and they agreed finally to send a prepaid mailer. I pointed out that while the device was faulty, it still worked in a minimal sense, and this would leave us with out any security cameras at all. During the course of the next few MONTHS, they agreed to send a new *** unit, after I sent the old one back. ![]() ![]() After several weeks of back and forth, they admitted to finding the original ticket which they "lost", but luckily I had saved the emails from it. After several Months, I attempted to recontact them, and they refused to do any because the item was out of warranty, though I had filed the claim well within the 1 year warranty. I filed a support ticket and after several weeks of back and forth, Night Owl stopped replying to the ticket. Shortly there after the *** and one of the cameras began to not work properly. I purchased a security system from Nightowl SP in 2017. I do not wish to conduct business with people that act like psychopathic tyrants and probably order their employees to treat people like this. I am requesting a full refund for this product. Just transfer me to your supervisor, like they do not know who their supervisors are?) Any way. I asked one for a supervisor and they stated they could not do that for me and for me to call the same phone number and ask for a supervisor (again does not make sense- your telling me to call the same number to speak with a supervisor?, i am already on the phone with that number. I no longer want to have a product from this company. He finally just hung up on me, then emailed me like he had helped me fix my issue, when he did not. The last guy (********) stated he would send me information via email to get my DVR replaced. The only device that is not functioning is the security camera system. then it was my internet speed (*****) (It worked fine for 6 months prior, internet has not changed and all other devices connected and are working). Then it was my TV ( even though TV worked fine). Then it was the power supply ***** though all other devices on power supply worked). They gaslighted me, lied to me, bullied me into believing at first that it was the **** cord (Farah) ***** though all other **** components worked). We troubleshooted the device and could not get it to work properly(it would turn on and off randomly). On 4-22-23, I called Night Owl Support and spoke with 3 different individuals requesting a resolution. Over the last week I noticed the system was not working correctly (on my phone, the cameras would show the cameras "not active"). Night Owl Support Case: ******* On, I purchased a night owl security camera system ( Series: BTD2) for $359.00 at ******** I installed the system right away.
